This gelato is oh so good. Yes, yes, it's all calorie/sugar/fat free. Well, you can pretend it is. Or an even better idea; use the glorious phrase, "I'm On Vacation!!!" Grasshopper was my fav until I did a little taster of the Salted Caramel. Salted Caramel needs no explanation on the flavor type. All I really have to say is: it's the best salted caramel item I've ever tasted! Salty. Caramel-y. There are little thin chips of chocolate in the gelato too. The Grasshopper flavor is very yummy, mixing my two favorite ice creams together --mint and cookies & cream. Grasshopper is a chocolate-mint ice cream with crushed cookies. Never gotten to enjoy my two favorite ice cream flavors together in such a fantastic way.
This location is right in Whaler's Village. And there's also a location on Front Street in Lahaina.

Eat it.
Enjoy it you will! -

Great little gem serving up some house-made gelato, coffee, and tea with a killer outdoor patio and view.
They also have diary free alternatives aka sorbetto
and some local goods like salt, shopping bags, and wooden items
Staff is friendly and you can't beat the fresh gelato and relaxing beach wave sounds -

Delicious, creamy gelato that's packed with flavor and fresh/local ingredients. A MUST try while strolling down Front street! I had the coconut gelato and sea salt caramel gelato, they were both extremely good! I recommend those flavors highly! You are also welcome to ask for samples of the gelatos.
They also sold local Maui products, such as house-made coconut peanut butter, house-made natural dog treats, freshly made pastries (including banana bread), and Jeff's jams. -

A cold treat by the warm sunny beach makes for an idyllic time. Ono Gelato Company, located along Front Street in Lahaina, has the cold treat for that experience. The shop is serious about its gelato and stays true to its roots. Its founder is a third-generation descendant of a gelato maker from Italy, and the gelato is made with both locally sourced ingredients and ingredients imported from Italy. The gelato and sorbet come in a variety of flavors, and the staff is happy to let you sample away. The gelato is light and creamy. The must-try flavor is sandy beach, which has peanut butter and graham cracker. The rest of the flavors are decent.
Aside from gelato, this place is also a coffee shop and gift shop. Enjoy some local coffee. Pick up some local gifts, such as their house brand peanut butter, for your friends and family. There is oceanfront seating in the back of the shop, or you can take your gelato to enjoy during your Front Street stroll. The gelato melts fast so enjoy it quickly. -

Sweet Shop across from "Wailers General Store" see last review...
Gelato is the specialty and great on a hot tropical day, homemade fudge next door, but we stopped here for Iced Chai Tea and Iced Caramel Latte with their own Macadamia Vanilla Raw Sugar...Took home a bag of that soo I can dream of Hawaii on days to come. Sit on the covered deck, listen to the local jams and soak in the clash of waves on the bay...Sweet Little Shop with extremely cute local ladies to keep you and yours Sweet and on Your Shopping Way...Alohaa!
